An evocative mixed media piece utilizing torn paper, charcoal, emulsion paint, graphite, and ink to convey a powerful sense of breaking free. The artwork, conceived during the 2020 pandemic, explores the frustration of isolation and the creative pursuit of 'New Dimension' text phrases. The monochromatic palette and textured elements create a somber yet dynamic atmosphere.

The 2020 pandemic spurred this into motion, the frustration of isolation was made tolerable by interacting with my materials in a new way.
